Don't Play Games With The Devil!

Award-winning director Chris Heck has put together a very cool short film entitled The Devil's Pawn. It is shot in the style of the German Expressionist films of the 1920's and almost perfectly captures that era. The short tells the story of "Johann, a young man who's soul rests on a single game of chess with the Devil!" The film was made as "a homage to the great German Expressionist films of the 1920's. As a way of honoring those filmmakers, every stage of production was executed as authentically to that period as possible." You can check out the entire short after the jump.

The film is getting quite a bit of attention as it makes it's way around the U.S. film festivals.
