Lionsgate just shot me over their 2010 Summer Preview for my movie website and it included a film that genre director / producer / actor Eli Roth (
Hostel 1 & 2, Cabin Fever, 2001 Maniacs) has coming out in August called
The Last Exorcism. According to the press release it's about "Reverend Cotton Marcus (Patrick Fabian), (who) after a career spent helping the devout through prayer and trickery, invites a film crew to document his final fraudulent days as an exorcist. Soon his faith is truly tested when a desperate plea from the father of a possessed girl (Ashley Bell) brings him face to face with evil itself."
It was directed by Daniel Stamm and comes out on August 27th. We'll try to get a trailer and images up as soon as they are released.
